SCOPE

The main goal of the CSCC workshop is to create an international space for the exchange of the latest experiences and research results in the area of computer security and cybersecurity for young scientists (PhD candidates or early-stage career PhDs). The workshop will also be attended by experienced scientists, passing on their knowledge and identifying challenges for the future in this area of science. It is assumed that by getting to know each other active scientists from different research centers will establish long-term scientific or project cooperation.

Conference topics include, but are not limited to, the following: Cryptographic protocols, Biometrics security and privacy, Data protection, Digital identity security, Automotive security, Digital and mobile banking security, Healthcare and e-health security, Embedded systems security, Cybersecurity awareness, Security metrics, Legal aspects of security.

 

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Authors should submit an extended abstract, case study report or presentation slides in English, carefully checked for correct grammar and spelling, addressing one or several of the conference areas or topics.

Only original works should be submitted. Works that contain any form of plagiarism will be rejected without reviews.

Extended abstracts should be up to 4 pages long, case study reports can be up to 8 pages long, including references, tables, graphs, images and appendices. Regarding presentation slides, they should be prepared for 30 minutes oral talk.

All accepted contributions will be presented during workshops in a form of 30 minutes oral talk. All materials will be also gathered and published at the CSCC website and if there will be intereset of participants as post-workshop proceedings under an ISSN reference with assigned DOI (Digital Object Identifier) number.

 

Submission Types

  • Extended abstact (work in progress) - for participants who wants to present their work during oral/poster session at the workshop and optionally publish their contribution in the proceedings.
  • Case study (applied research) - for participants who wants to present their work during oral/poster session at the workshop with (optional) publication in the proceedings.
  • Presentation slides - for participants who wants to present their work during oral session at the workshop without the publication in the proceedings.

 

Contribution Approval Process

All contribution approvals are based on the submitted materials followed by chair screening and open review process. All materials might be subject to proof-reading after acceptance.

All contributions must be submitted through the online submission platform and should follow the instructions and templates provided in the documents enclosed below, which are also the templates for the camera-ready submission. After the contribution submission has been successfully completed, authors will receive an automatic confirmation e-mail and further instructions.
